Commissioned by the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival in USA.
In Williams’ 1930’s one-act dream of a happy marriage, a vaudeville headliner nicknamed the Duchess, retires from the stage to take on a new role as muse (and wife) to a starving young artist.
A radical reworking of Tennessee William's play The Magic Tower, with Greek rempetiko music and singing. The show was a big success and was praised by audience and critics.
